Can anybody help or have experience in using these adapters for M42 lenses in RD1 ?
I have an m42 lenses, Schneider Kreuznach edixa-curtagon 28mm f4 (in m42 mount),
an Schneider Kreuznach Xenon 50mm f1.9 and Voigtlander Skoparex 35mm f3.4 in deckel mount.
Are there any adapters for these lenses using in RD1 ? Are they fit ? Can they be usable ?

Thanks
dan

Not at a RD but on a "M". I use my Carl Zeiss Flektogon 2.8/20mm via a Novoflex M42 -> LTM/M39 (order code LeiCo) and a Voigtländer LTM/M39 -> M adapter on my M and LTM RF.
It is fitting perfectly. (costs Novoflex : 49 , Voigtländer: 55 ) There are also a more expensive M42 -> M adapter by Novoflex (149 ) or some cheaper M42 -> LTM from Russia (30).

At 20mm focusing is not a problem, and metering with the M5 spot also not.
You have to use an extra viewfinder so the hugeness of the 20mm SLR lens - compared to an original LTM/m lens isn´t a viewfinder problem.
From a friend I could try a VC 4/21mm - in optical view it is not better than the CZ 2.8/20 but handling ;) .

PS: I looked on a recent catalogue :
Novoflex:
M42 -> M39/LTM : Code word : Lei-Co prize : 49
M42 -> M...........: Code word : - prize: 149

Personnally I would use the adapter only on lenses < 35mm (because of focusing).
But I found at page 97-98 in Jon Eastlands book: Leica M compendium (reprint 2001) a chapter about the use of the Nikkor S.C. 1.2/55mm with a Leica 4. Jon Eastland used a Novoflex Lei-Nik adapter and he seems not to have a focusing problem.

Dear veraikon

Thanks a lot for your help and info.
I wish to be happy with these lenses in the RD1 later.
How about any deckel adapter ?

Best regards
dan:)
