I'm 62 now....
Not everyone has good coordination... some just can't go by touch in the changing bag, or darkroom to load reels.... Believe me, I tried for over a month to load Paterson reels by touch.... the best time I had was about 15 minutes.

Forget metal reels.... no way.

I was 15 in 1969 when I first started to develop film in the 7x25 darkroom my dad built at the back of the garage.

Twist off bottle showed up in the early 1960's Bob.. you grew up with it also ;)

But hey... as long as can get it loaded in a reasonable time, anyway you can.. more power to you! :D
