I have both the wall mount and one top left , actually two .
The wall mount is nice as it never gets lost. All work well, very well.

You young guys grew up with twist off bottle caps and pop tops for cans. Some of us had much early in life practice with a church key levering off caps of beer bottles or punching triangular holes in the top of beer cans with the other end. But it seems we are a dying breed.
I'm 62 now....
Not everyone has good coordination... some just can't go by touch in the changing bag, or darkroom to load reels.... Believe me, I tried for over a month to load Paterson reels by touch.... the best time I had was about 15 minutes.
Forget metal reels.... no way.
I was 15 in 1969 when I first started to develop film in the 7x25 darkroom my dad built at the back of the garage.
Twist off bottle showed up in the early 1960's Bob.. you grew up with it also
But hey... as long as can get it loaded in a reasonable time, anyway you can.. more power to you!

I ended up getting the Dotline DLC opener from B & H, and had a chance to use it this week on a roll of HP5. It's exactly what I was hoping for - the right tool for the job. Just slip it over the end of the cassette and pop the end off, no worries. And the build quality is way better than I expected. It should literally last a lifetime.
