Now, I recall someone posting a picture of a Leica burned in a fire. I think this one is Hasse is in a worse shape. Can someone get it going?

Well, the dark slide doesn't look too bad...

Other than that, I think they might as well have left it on the bottom of the ocean, where it apparently came from...

It was an auction for a Leica M4 body that had "survived" a fire in a warehouse. I remember because I copied the link in one thread... some time ago.

Looks like that Hassy has been used to anchor boats. I don't think I'd touch it for anything more than free.
