I'm thinking of ordering a cameraleather kit for my Zorki 6. The Zorki 6 is on their list of supported cameras but there is a note on the order page to "make sure the cover is removable". I don't really want to try and lift the covering just to see if it's removable or not, so can anyone tell me if the covering on the 6 comes off?

Thanks

I've never seen a Zorki 6 with other than the ribbed nylon covering. That does come off, it usually curls up and refuses to be stuck back on by anything known to man though! (If anyone knows what *will* stick this stuff, please tell me). If it's a vulcanite covering that's a lot harder to remove.

Yes it can. It will peel off rather easily. So easily in fact, that the Z-6's I have had peeled themselves off their skin here in the tropics!

a Z6 might look good in Cardinal Red :]

I love cameraleather.com, they have a great high quality product.
If you use your Z6 alot, I reccomend theyre Griptac covering, its possibly the best cover for a active user. I recovered my old FE with the black Griptac and it felt like a whole different camera.

I was thinking of getting the Cardinal Red covering for my F3, still havnt decided tho, Post some photo's if you do end up recovering!
