How does Web Log become a Blog? It should be a Wog. Goes against the principles of concatenation.

Blog sounds so much like blah. But a G, not the H.

Maybe I'll start a Web Log.

Went to a network talk 15 years ago, talking about a new protocol.

When they hit ATM SAR I stopped and asked why would anyone install Synthetic Aperture RADAR on an Automatic Teller Machine. They explained all of the acronyms after that.

Heh. Don't forget the 'All of the Above' Geeks. I know a few of those.

We had been talking about web development and the design of accessible sites when someone came in asking about the best layout for a blog. We got into a discussion on that, then someone asked why it was called a blog in the first place. Then we started discussing how incredibly stupid it was and other names we could come up with to call them...there were a few colorful ones in there. 😉
