Helmut Newton used alot of Medium Format, notably the Rolleiflex and Hasselblad. (He also used the Canon SLR as well).
I would like to know what are the possible apertures used here in these pictures, taking into consideration that f-stop in MF have a much shallower DOF than small format 35mm:
(a) F8 or F11 or F16 ?
(b) f2.8, f3.5/f4 or f5.6 or even f8 ?
(c) f8, f11, f16 ?
(d) f2.8, f4, f5.6 or f8 ?
Thanks in advance for your responses. I am shooting available light this coming Monday in a Restaurant. I sort of figured out that
with a tripod, I can go about f8-f11 at iso 400 and about 1/2 second or 1 second. I probably need the sitter to really sit still.
Any Suggestions would be great.
