Canon 100mm f/3.5 lens

I've had one for a few years. I am just starting to use it now. I just finished cleaning off the haze on the inside and checking the collimation. It is very sharp when checked on my DSLR (can only focus a few inches away). It is slightly soft in the corners wide open (checking stock tables in the news paper taped to the wall from a couple of inches)

I'll post a couple of pictures after I finish the roll in the camera.

For those folks who could not focus their lens, perhaps the previous owner cleaned the haze from the lens and did mot reassemble the lens correctly. To get to the haze, you must remove two elements and one spacer. The spacer is shaped to fit on the convex portion of one of the elements. Six of the reassembly permutations will get you close in focus but still not right. It is very easy to put in the spacer backwards. I know, I did that (red face of embarrassment).
