first shots with this lens at mt hope cemetery in rochester ny

there is not much light fall off in the corners as I thought there might be
the lens is very sharp - topogon zeiss design influenced copy
its the only lens of this type you can get at reasonable cost
the 2.5 cm f4 nikkor & topogon are quite expensive in comparison

the Russian Orion is a 28mm f6 lens of this type - perhaps a little cheaper but not as wide

I bought an example of this lens in Japan many years ago.... i should have kept it. It would have saved me using the 21 & 28.
They were very inexpensive compared w Leica lenses.
