Hi,
I was reading the Japanese edition of the Canon 2001 Annual Photo Contest book. The book presents a history of milestones of Canon cameras and lenses released by year. In 1956 the book indicates that Canon released a 28mm f2 lens. There are no photos of the lens. There is only one sentence. It does not indicate what mount the lens is either.
Does the lens exist? Would the lens be a LTM lens? Is it a misprint? I think it cannot be a SLR lens because the Canon RM was released in 1959, so it must be a rangefinder lens. Any help would be great.
Thanks,
Maiku
