Hi All,

Recently, I acquired a lovely Canon 35mm f2.8 E.P. ltm lens. The lens itself is in beautiful condition and enigmatic. Not a Serenar but chrome over brass.

Unfortunately, the lens has an issue. The aperture ring turns and hits the click-stops but the aperture itself is not opening. (See Photos 2 and 3) Methinks there might be an issue with aperture pin. Perhaps its broken or sheared? I know that these lenses separate and the aperture could be addressed without touching the complex helicoid but I want to provide due diligence for this jewel-like lens.

So, I am asking for recommendations for reputable repair facilities that I can ship the lens to for evaluation. Any help in this area would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Mike
