I don't see any real advantage of using a 35mm/1.5 over a 35mm/1.8, especially since the 35/1.8 is so small that longer exposures are possible with it.

RF lenses needs to be small for me. If size doesn't matter I can take my Canon SLRs. I just discovered the very small-sized early CANON wideangeles (i.e.3.5/28mm) which allows to carry a camera with lens in a jacket. The black 2/35 is such a lens too. I like it most at my Bessa-R. Compared to the f/1.8 or f/2 the 1.5/35 is a pure collector's lens (alike the 1.5/85) - But, of course, it's the fastest CANON-WA. and it looks nice! 
3 years ago - when I looked for the 2/35 - they appeared once a month in ebay at 400-450 USD but rarer nowadays. Probably got horted by dealers. I don't believe the performance is so bad compared to the first 1,4/35 Summilux. Even the designs looks overstrained. Alike the 0.95/50, speed was prior to performance.

hey guys, sorry I won't be able to post some normal processed slide film from this lens. I am away from my film scanner and probably will not be able to scan any of my film until Jan 17. I will continue to shoot and post photos into that set in the future. Thank you for all the great comments and interest.
