I've had my eye on this one, for quite a while. KevinCameras was offering this at $200, and I was very interested. It's in great condition, with just some light cleaning marks in the glass.

I inquired and he quickly answered my questions. The I noticed that the BIN price dropped to $190 including shipping. So I pulled the trigger, and I'm glad I did.

This is the later model finder, which has the distance-setting lever on the back. So it works well with my 7S and 7, but will also will work well on VT. So it fits and works well on all my Canon RF bodies.

Here it is on 7 with 35mm F1.5 :

This one has a black metal mask on the front, which sets the framing. I can just see all four corners of the 35mm frame, with my eyeglasses. I think I'm going to be glad I grabbed it. There are just not that many original 35mm finders out here, I have found. Or at least, I haven't found them. I wonder if Canon made this is in a brightline version? This is the same one illustrated in the original Canon 7 instruction book.

Nice. Brightline?
