If you've been lucky enough to work with both of these lenses, I'd be very interested in your impressions regarding similarities, differences, signature etc.
Really? My experience w/the 5cm/1.4 Nikkor-S in Nikon RF mount & LTM is that it behaves very much like a Sonnar (down to producing the same kind of flare w/out-of-frame point light sources) only w/slightly "swirlier" boke wide-open. I also don't think the original Voigtlander behaves like a Sonnar (except for characteristics that are common to all 1950's lenses).
