Canon 50 f/1.5 LTM

I was very lucky to get one that was calibrated accurately... it focuses well on both my M3 and M4 at close distances...

That is beautiful!!

it should not be difficult for someone with experience doing so... I dont know any in Toronto that is familiar with the older Canon LTMs, David Yau has advised me in the past against trying to open up older Canon LTMs unless there is a significant issue AND you has access to parts... I think he's being very pragmatic as a camera tech that doesn't have extra parts and he said the few times he's opened up the older Canons it was a very difficult job because the lubes had dried up ...

having said that I'm sur DAG or Sherry Krauter or even Brian Sweeney on RFF would be happy to give it a go if you sent it and your M7 to them...

double check focus accuracy using a tripod and a static subject/chart close up on your M7 and your 35 summilux AND your Canon LTM to make sure it's not focusing error on your part and isolated to the Canon only...

focusing a f1.5 wide open in very low light on a 0.72 mag VF can be very challenging...

good luck
