Canon 7 and .95 50mm Lens

Both items are on the way and should be here anyday. I'm hesitant to have the lens converted to M, but somewhere I read that someone had a way they could convert back and forth from M to 7 mount.

Anyway, I'm a new Canon RFer owner, but not a stranger to RFers. Provided the 7 is in decent condition, and I don't need to return it, who is the expert to do a CLA, just so I can know it is done? Who is the best person to do the M conversion if I decide to go that route?

Don Goldberg (DAG) has done CLA work on my Canon L1 and 50mm f1.8 lens, as well as several Leica M and a Nikon S2. To me, he is the only one.

So the S3 2000 kit became a Canon 7 and 0.95 kit? Have fun and provide your impressions of that massive and iconic lens.

Not quite a direct swap! The S3 2000 body is on it's way to New Zealand. The money is still in paypal and I'm not sure what I'll do. I did keep the Millennium Nikkor to be used on a M body if I ever buy one.

The .95 lens has been on my list for a while and since I have some ltm lenses I figured a 7 would be a good purchase!

I'll run a roll or two through it and see how I like it!
