Hi all ,
Had to take the top off my Canon 7 as the light collecting window had come adrift .
Before i took the top off i did my research into non working selenium meters
and read that sometimes meters can be brought back to life with "Deoxit" .
So decided to purchase a tube and give it a go , for the sake of £5 !!
Took the top off , re-glued the window , and gave all the soldered connections of the light meter a small drop of deoxit , left it for 5 minutes ,dried off any excess with a cotton bud , put the top back on , pointed it at the light and hey presto the needle sprang into life 😀😀😀.
Regards
