Canon 7 - Price Range...

Hi,

I got a nice deal for a Canon 7 with a 50mm 1.2 LTM. I only needed the lens, therefore I'd like to sell the Canon 7 here on RFF. Everything looks good. The shutter speeds are working and sounds accurate. The shutter is showing some wrinkles but it works fine. The meter is moving but I'm not so sure about the precision (compare to my 1V, it looks good in bright situations, but seems to be overexposing in low light). The body is neat, it only shows minor signs of use. Overall, it's in good working condition.

Anyway, what would be a fair price for this item ?

If the viewfinder is in nice shape, you might try listing at $250. Check KEH for comparison. A working meter on a 7 will be fine outdoors, but not so good in low light situations. I think that was probably the case even when they were new.

I just paid $162 for a real nice user 7. The viewfinder is nice and bright. There is a small wrinkle on the shutter, but other than a little light brassing it's fantastic.

Between $150 and $200 depending on condition (if it`s TOP pristine $225)

The 7s and 7sz are pulling the better prices now between $300 and $600 respectively
