Canon 7 Repair Recommendations?

Just got one of these and I think I'm going to like it a lot. It's perfectly usable as is, but I was wondering if anyone had recommendations for any specialists to give it a good CLA. I am sure if I sent it to Essex they'd do a good job, but I wanted to know of places others may have used and had good experience with. Thanks.

I have a 7 and am mulling over sending it off for a CLA too. I was thinking of contacting Don Goldberg (DAG), b/c he did a great repair job on my Canon P.

I sent my 7s to Essex for light seals, a CLA, and RF adjustment, and it was returned with oil all over the shutter curtains and a big speck of black fluff right in the center of the finder eyepiece.

I called to complain and sent it back a second time; they rectified the problems quickly and correctly. But this experience suggests that if you use them, you should check their work carefully as soon as your camera comes back. Of course that's good advice regardless of who does your repairs.

I had DAG overhaull a Canon 7s, and was very pleased with the service.

I had Essex CLA a Canonet and it came back totally transformed and has worked impeccably since. I was impressed with their work.
