Canon 7

I felt like getting back into "real" photography, and after a lot of thought, have bought a Canon 7. However, having failed to find any original lenses, I am tempted to get a new Voigtlander screw thread 35mm Color Skopar Classic lens.
Will it be compatible - I am in particular thinking of the rangefinder coupling?

Any other general comments - what do you "old hands" think of the Canon 7?

Hello and welcome, Mark!

You will have no problem mating the CV35 lens to your Canon 7, even with regards to the focusing cam. You may try placing a "want to buy" ad for Canon lenses if that is your desire. There is a world of Leica thread mount (LTM) lenses for you to explore. Good luck and have fun!

I pulled my Canon 7 out and shot a few rolls early this Summer.

Works quite well.

I use a mix of Russian, Leitz, Steinheil and Canon lenses.
