Canon Demi-C

A few weeks ago I bought a Canon Demi-C kit with original case, 28mm/2.8 and 50mm/2.8 lenses with filters plus the flash cold shoe coupler. No box or manual so not a real time capsule but it sure felt like one.

I think the auction was ignored because the seller is not a photo dealer or user (likely got it from an estate) and the listing photos were terrible.
I was watching the auction for a few days when one morning the BIN price dropped from $65USD to $40. So I took a chance and jumped on it.
Delighted to say the the whole kit and case are in perfect condition, completely unblemished and in great working order. Only the foam seals were bad and took about 40 q-tips with alcohol to clean out - a record for me.
I’m nearly done shooting the first roll. Can’t wait to see the results.

Kit was missing the 50mm lens cap which I already bought and await delivery.

Still need the rear lens caps.

What is the thread size of the rear of the lens?
Anyone know what I can use as a substitute?

And, I don't know the rear lens thread size, but I did just find this page offering an SD lens to M39 mount adapter:

It might be worth an email to the designer of that to ask about the size.

Sounds like you got a pretty good deal on an interesting camera!

Just measured my two Demi-C lenses with a dial caliper. The thread diameter is 30 mm.
