I know the converters for the digital Canon Eos cameras seems to be a big thing with those who use the cameras. I suppose they also work on an analog Eos 1n. I am thinking of swapping the screen in the camera for one with a splitscreen and using either Nikon or Olympus lenses.

But what sort of metering would I be able to get? None or just stop-down? I have seen converters which seems to have electronic contacts, are these only for AF lenses?

What's the best quality converters?

Lens converters?

Ones like OM to EoS tend to work on both digital and analog. The ones with the electronic contacts are only AF-CONFIRM, meaning your camera will light up the AF light when your object is in focus (from manual focusing). I haven't seen any other AF contact converters.
