Canon FD 17mm 4.0SSC on Leica M8

Is this in all posted images or only the close-ups? I may have been off in estimating the distances.
Sorry, I refer to the flare or low-contrast spot in the center. It is clearly visible in pretty much all the digital captures you provided. It is less visible or even absent in the film photos. It gets stronger when there is something highly reflective somewhere in the center, but it looks like it is there in all conditions with sufficiently high exposure.
 
Could this be due to a curved surface so tnat the flat sensor makes such a center with low contrast? Modern lenses ( for micro 4/3) are designed for flat sensors. I wobder whether this les does the same on the M9.
 
I took these photos yesterday on the M8, side by side with the photos that I took with the Xenon 50/2.8 on the M9.

Thank you Lynn. I always liked using this lens on the Canon T90 and F1N, and then on the Leica Standard and the M6. Now, I like using it as a 22mm lens on the M8. There is no distortion seen.
