Here's another with the 35mm f2.8 FDn lens.
This guy saw me photographing at the 2015 Three Rivers Festival and asked me to take his picture. When I snapped the picture, he gave me the thumbs up and smiled!

I like this shot, unfortunately most of the people I meet don't want to be photographed and they even complain (or threaten) because they think I'm shooting them even if I'm taking a pic of something else.
I shot this girl with my FTbn at f1.4 in a pub, BW400CN:

This is one of my ex coworker, F-1n, FD 35mm f2 (thorium), and Xp2, unfortunately the composition isn't perfect:

FTBn with FD55 f1.2:

The FTbn is my "walking" camera as the F-1n is so freaking big, but I love it! Here there's a pic of my "exploded" F-1:

Even better building quality of the Nikon F2 IMO.

Let's keep the Canon manual focus pride rolling straight into the new year!
Few examples from the longest Canon FL lens ever made, the Canon FL 1200mm f/11 super telephoto. Part of a system of interchangeable lens heads that all worked with the same "Canon Focusing Mount" which included a few pieces of glass and a rack & pinion focus system.
These are crap scans from my Canoscan 9000F, Ilford Delta 3200 film. Body was a Canon FT QL, shutter speed was 1/1000 and aperture f/11 or f/16 for the surf shots due to more sunlight.
Minimum focus distance is ~130ft on this, so extension tubes come in very handy when going for birds.

I forget which film it is, scanned all day yesterday so it's all a blur.

Love the first shot of 'Hunt the Shunt', James HUNT, 1976 F1 World Champion, and as you can probably see from the photo, a notorious womaniser!

I started "real photography" with Canon FD camera and lens. Canon TX with Canon 50/1.8 S.S.C. FD.
Bought brand new on April 1st 1976. Still have it, though it's in real need of a CLA.
Best,
-Tim
Found this pic, shot on Kodachrome, in the summer of 1976, with the above mentioned Canon TX w/50mm f1.8 S.C. FD lens.
