As for the normal and wide angle lenses, I'll go through the common hoods.
There's a dedicated Series VI round hood for the 50/3.5. On most lenses you would use the 36mm slip-on adapter, but on those lenses that have 34mm threads, you would use the 34mm threaded adapter.
There is a dedicated Series VII round hood for the 50/1.5. Comes in chrome and black. Chrome ones are normally paired with a 40mm screw-in adapter. Black ones are normally paired with a 42mm "B" screw-clamp adapter. No definitive reason why they would make a hood to use Series VII filters on a 40mm diameter lens, unless a Series VI filter was going to cause some speed loss by reducing the effective diameter of the front element.
There is a dedicated screw-clamp hood for the 50/1.2.
There are two rectangular hoods using Series VI adapters. Both are really excellent designs, and have nearly zero impact on the viewfinder. The smaller one is generally marked for the 35/3.5 and 50/1.9. The larger one is rarer, and is generally marked for the 35/3.2, 35/2.8, and 50/1.8 lenses. Both would have come with a 42mm slip-on adapter for the 50mm lenses. You would need to get a 36mm slip-on adapter for the 35mm lenses. I have used the larger one with no trouble on the 35/1.8 and 50/1.5 lenses, but it is apparently not compatible with the 35/2.0.
Finally, there is a round Series VI hood for the 35/2.8, 35/3.2, and 50/1.8 lenses. While it's smaller than the rectangular hoods, it is quite intrusive on a bottom-loader camera. I only find it useful on the 35/2.8 when using an auxilliary viewfinder. It came in both chrome and black, a chrome one would come with a 40mm screw-in adapter, black ones were more likely to have the 42mm "A" clamp-on adapter.
The slip-on adapters do scrape up the chrome on the lenses. This is corrected by the later, but rarer, screw-clamp adapters.
However, if you reverse a hood on the lens for storage, there's no special cap to cover a screw-clamp adapter. There are special "reverse" caps for the 36, 42, and 50mm slip-on adapters, and also for the 34, 40, and 48mm screw-in adapters. The only reasonably common threaded reverse cap is the 48mm one, the others are very rare.
So, if you see a 44mm slip-on Canon lens cap, it's for the reversed hood on the 135/4.0 lens. The 48mm threaded reverse cap is for the 85/2.0, 85/1.9, and 135/3.5 lenses.
