I've been having a hard time finding an accessory shoe (referred to as a Canon Flash Coupler R) for my Canonflex camera, and was just wondering if anyone knew of an acceptable substitute.

I'm looking for one too, for my Canon 7. Supposedly this works for adding a flash shoe which is missing on the Canon 7.
I've heard of people machining their own but it seems difficult.
The alternative would be to just use a flash bracket for one of these cameras, maybe it would give better quality flash anyway.

This will be no help to you, I once had one, but being so small, they're the type of thing that is easily lost. No idea where mine now is.
