Anything odd about the above combo? 🙂
In preparation for the trip next week, I rummaged through my box of lens adapters. Then I encountered one that I've forgotten I had. At the time when I got it, I didn't know what it was for. The mount is weird, a bayonet kind, but recessed.
Now I know better, and it just so happen I just purchased a Canon FTb from the camera show a few weeks ago.
Guess what, the adapter will lock into an FD mount camera, and at the other end... any M42 lenses!
Good thing too because the only lens I got with the camera is the Canon FD 135mm f2. This Takumar 35/2 should do nicely until I can get a similar 35/2 Canon S.S.C. (Yeah, anyone who pays attention here should know it by now that I'm a 35mm focal length nut 😀 )
Any other stories of using adapters with your old SLR's?
