Anyone have any experience with Leica lenses on a Canon GF1? I have an M8 but have always found it a bit dust filled and clunky. I thought the GF1, with its four thirds format and preview, would be great. I plan to get an adapter so I can use all my great Leica lenses with the camera.

Let's face it, Leica makes great lenses but not the best cameras.

Any opinions or personal experiences?

You mean Panasonic. Most of us don't have the camera yet--it's a bit hard to come by in these early days. But many people here are using Leica lenses on their G1, GH1, or E-P1...just poke around in the m4/3 forum.

I have the G1 and the GF1... have not shot my Leica lenses with the GF1 yet. The camera does not measure up to my M8 for file quality but it certainly has it's place and is a really neat piece of equipment.

ps- The 20mm f1.7 lens is a beauty!
