Canon IIF - Recommended?

Hey,

Just wondered if anyone here has/had a canon IIF, and would they recommend it or not?

I've been trying to find some info about the camera on google, and im 99% sure that it is the LTM thread right?

Finally, what sort of cheap (but good) lenses would people recommend for said camera. I know theres a lot of good old russian glass, but id want to make sure that they would be compatible first!

The IIF is a fine camera. And yes, it's lens mount is LTM.

Take a look at the Canon Museum for more info on Canon rangefinder cameras.

Thanks for the reply! Hopefully there wont be that problem with the russian lenses hitting the light baffles. Ill just have to wait and see..

Anyway I bought a user body on ebay for £69. Missing the front glass cover for the VF and it has a hole in the top plate, but hey cant complain at the price really. A nice cla should sort out the shutter speeds and it will be all useable.
