I've recently acquired a mint IIF2, from you know where. It was being auctioned as a "Canon EP" but fortunately I was able to identify it with the help of Peter Dechert's book and the serial number and bid accordingly.

Does anyone have a manual for this camera? I'd be happy to cover costs of copying etc. (I've tried Butkus but no luck there.)

Thanks,
Bill

It is the same as any bottomloader Barnack type camera.
once you learn how to load it with film, just set the shutter speed and f stop on your lens, focus and shoot.

I do not think you want to use flash bulbs with it?

Thank you - my concern lies with changing shutter speeds before/after cocking the shutter. Are there any restrictions? (There don't seem to be but I don't want to screw things up!)

With the improved series such as your IIF2 it does not matter when you change the shutter speeds, before or after winding.

I been using my IIS2 for a few months now and it is fun to use , but I do not see a big difference over my non improved IVSb.

Here is a pic of my IIS2 higher shutter speeds dial showing the central axis marker on the dial, so the shutter speed can be set at any time , camera wound or unwound.

Other than the engraved x (1/45 sec) position , it is the same as on your Canon IIF2.
