Canon IV questions

I have a chance to buy a Canon IV. Is this one a bottom loader and does the film need to be"cut"each time? If it needs this treatment, anyone have a side by side picture of uncut/cut film leaders?

Yep, it is a bottom loader, and requires the typical 4 inch/10cm long tapered leader used with barnack leicas. I don't have a picture of the two, but RFFer Zorkikat has some good stuff at the following link. Even though these instructions apply to FSU cameras, the film trimming bit applies to Canons and other barnack copies.
