If you post an example of the light leak we might be able to diagnose and recommend a DIY repair.
Barnack's design is pretty hardy and light-leak resistant. The main weakness is found around the slow speed dial - there should be a piece of thin felt between the body and the shutter crate at that spot to eliminate light leaks. Two of my Leicas returned from a service lacking that felt, and apparently that's not an uncommon experience.
