canon lens on a FED2

Hello!

I'm trying to decide whether to buy a lens described as

Canon 135mm f4 in Leica screw mount

does anyone have any idea if this will work in a FED2? I've heard that earlier canon lenses had a 39x1mm thread that wasn't compatible with leica threading

Never heard that. Really early Canon lenses were made by Nikon. They work fine on LTM cameras. I'm not a Canon person though. Where did you hear/read that Canon lenses were not to LTM spec?
