I am trying to find the price for the lightmeter that came with the Canon P. I have searched ebay. I can not find one listed or in old auctions. There is a guy selling one for $45. I have now found the manual. So I will go back and see if its working properly (old selenium meter). But, without the manual or knowing if it worked properly. He asked me to make an offer. I said $20. He said that was in insult. So, I just want to know what you guys would offer? I dont need it. It was just a bout of GAS. Oh yeah, it will mount on my Canonet QL17 won't it?

No, it will not mount on your Canonet QL17. Besides, it would not make sense, since the QL17 has its own built.-meter, which is also more modern and accurate than the old selenium meter for Canon Ps, Vs and VIs. Prices for these selenium meters can range, from what I've seen, from $20 to $80, approx. They are only useful, assuming that they are working properly--quite an assumption given their age--in bright light, and their viewing angle is quite wide.

Regards,
Luis
