I recently had purchased a beautiful Canon P. Will there be a problem using the 15 Heliar on the Canon P?

There was a recent thread regarding the use of the CV 15 on an M6. The overwhelming consensus was: no problem at all. I am hoping it's the same with the Canon P.

I certainly appreciate all your input. Thanks a lot.

I just purchased this lens today but won't have it in hand till Tuesday. Since it comes in LTM and I was told it works equally well with Leica screwmount cameras it should work fine with the Canon.
It is a scale focus lens though..

Louie,

I don't think you'll have a problem assuming the lens mount on the Canon body is without defect. The wee & wide Heliar is a very good performer once you learn to hold the camera so your fingers don't get in the photo. A spirit level mounted on a double accessory shoe (with the Heliar's vewfiinder) is a good investment for you now.

Enjoy!
