Canon P frame counter resets erratically

hello RFF,

this is my first thread 🙂

After some years of DSLR photography, I started using film cameras this year and ended up 2 months ago or so with a canon P, which I really like.

Now comes the problem:

I noticed that the frame counter resets sometimes erratically. Maybe someone experienced a similar problem? What I can tell is that the camera back is closed, as soon as I open the back door, the counter resets as it should.
