Is there a plate available for the Canon P which centers a tripod?

I saw that one but it's for a later model, the P fits the L version which are hard to find.

One of the side benefits of using a Leica M grip on the Canon P is that it allows centering the P on a tripod. I don't know what they sell for now, but I have purchased mine in the $65 range a few years ago.

The plate made for the older Nikons (2000/2020) will work on the 7 and the P. And there's not much demand for it.

However, it won't work for verticals like the Canon plate.

Yell if you need the Nikon part number.. I've got one someplace.

This non-L grip fits the earlier series 2, 3, and 4 Canons.

That holder for the II, III, and IV series is also the more annoying earlier version that requires removing the camera strap and ring on the right side of the camera before mounting it. (Same version I wound up with.)
