Can a Canon P properly focus a 135mm lens? I am considering a P, already have the 135mm Canon lens in black.

If you want to use a long lens frequently, the VI-L might be a better buy with the variable mag finder. With a 135, it is just about full frame.

Many of the bottom loading Canon rangefinders have a 50, 100, and 135mm finders switchable with a lever -- very convenient if you need a well aligned 135mm finder at reasonable cost. The Canon 7s is another option that is moderate cost and free of alignment hassles. I've shot plenty of 135mm frames on My Bessa R too using the 90mm finder and visualizing the 135mm lines -- works better than it has a right to.
