There's a nice looking and working one of these on Ebay. The buy it now price is $50.00. That seems to be a fair price. They appear to be of better build quality than the Yashica GSN. The lens specs are the same.

I have a late Version 1. 45mm F/1.7, Cold Shoe, 100% chrome winding lever, BUT ASA 25-800. Version 1 had ASA 25-400 as a standard range. I paid $45.00 on *bay. seller said it was working, The Shutter was DOA with new Wein PX675. So a $75.00 CLA and repair will be needed. Still worth the total price in the long run.

The G-III go for $100-150 on *Bay. The $50.00 is a good price. Espcially if it really is working, shutter and meter.

I too think is a better build than the Yashica GSN. But The Minolta 7s II is a good build too.

Good luck.

Assuming it's recently CLA'd it's a good price. Got mine for $28 USD without the CLA. Was missing a lug strap but other than that works great.

I wonder why those strap lugs fall out! I had one with a missing lug (hehe). There's something disconcerting about thinking the lug came off!

I contacted the seller and posed some of these same questions. The camera has not had a recent CLA. The camera has been tested with a fresh battery to confirm meter and shutter is functioning properly. He also writes me the ASA range is 25-800 and the light seals are ok for now, but will need replacement. He apparently sells mostly cameras on ebay, not a repairmen, but experience photographer. His business name is Vintage Shutterbox. I also checked his feedback, no negitives with cameras and lenses sold, all graditude.

PS. 3 day money back return policy, Not bad.
Also the QL17 in the classifieds here, is a newer model.
