I need to calibrate for focusing and CLA some Canon RF lenses. Is there any particular person that is reputable that I can send them to?

Thanks in advance.

Sherry Krauter (Golden Touch Camera Repair) and Don Goldberg (DAG Camera) will do a fine job. You do need the right jogs to collimate and calibrate LTM lenses.

On camera bodies, Sherry only works on M mount bodies, not Leica or Canon LTM. Don does work on the Canon bodies.

You might try John Van Stelton / Focal Point in Colorado. phone: 303-665-6640.
Good luck,
Gary

EDIT: Here is the web address...http://www.focalpointlens.com

He was recommended to me by DAG to recement an old lens.

Based on on the contacts given, I wrote to all:

1) Pete Smith replied and said he cannot help.
2) Sherry replied that she can CLA but not the focus adjustment part especially with the M8. Checking focusing with other Ms are fine.
3) Don said OK, but was not clear on the focus adjustment, whether it will be with the M8 or just other Ms.

I've had John at Focal Point do several Canon RF CLA's and collimating and he does very good work! He did my Canon RF 50/1.2, a Leica LTM Summarit , a Canon RF 35/2 and currently he has my Canon RF 100/3.5. I highly recommend him Hacker.

Best Wishes.

Another vote for Sherry Krauter at Golden Touch. She CLA'd two canon lenses for me, both very quick turn around and reasonably priced.

Hacker,

Any updates from John? Might have something to be send it as well depending on whether I can get my hands on them. As such, would love to hear if you have any success with your search.

Cheers,

Yes, he can do them, but I had sent to Don before John replied to me. I think with all the delays with Don at the moment, John, Sherry and others (Pete does Nikon, not Canon) are better bets.
