first camera-Canon Vt
I have several Canon RF cameras and lenses from the 50's and 60's. I'd like to have them CLA'ed as well as some specific repairs and some parts (hopefully) replaced.
I know there are a number of places around the country that handle this type of work and I am interested in gereral feedback or any specific experiences people have had regarding various repair shops.
Thanks,
Peter

Ken Ruth, Photography at Bald Mountain did a shutter replacement and CLA on a Canon VT for me. Excellent work, decent rate, (around $360 for all), and a super nice guy. The camera ended up quieter than any M I've owned.

I sent a Canon 7 with a 50 1.2 to DAG and it came back like new. I didn't know that the aperture ring could turn so smoothly.
He is more expensive than Essex, but he does very good work. Whether it is worth the price difference I do not know.

Jon Van Stelten did an excellent job on several of my old Leica and Canon screwmounts. He's one of the few people that can re-coat a lens too. See:
