Canon serenar 1.8mm for screw mount camera

Please I need to ask a question, will a canon serenar 50mm fit my Leica IIIg , or Bessa R2A.

Yes, the Canon Serenar 50/1.8 will fit any leica based screwmount camera. It will also fit M mount cameras such as the Bessa R2A with an LTM to M adapter.

The lens will fit all LTM {directly) and all M mount cameras (with an M adapter).

The black and chrome version has an aluminum mount, and is lighter, if that matters to you.

The Black lens is lighter, but is also more prone to the surface behind the aperture becoming etched by the lubricants. I've had three Black lenses, and three chrome lenses. The haze cleaned off of the chrome lenses without damaging the coating. Two of the three black lenses had light damage. The optical glass was changed, and the newer glass was more prone to damage.
