Wow, actually I've noticed the prices on these have climbed substantially in the last couple years. I haven't seen a "good" 50/1.8 offered for less than $200 lately. Often $250. Now, that's lenses offered by people who know what they have and they are in perfectly good condition (glass is free of IQ-affecting issues and barrel in decent shape).

I'd snap one up at $100 if it meets my "good" criteria. Wouldn't think twice about it. Very good lens for the money. No, excellent lens for the money.
