canon vs. nikon shootout

how about a shoot out between the 85/2 lenses made by canon and nikon?

they both are rated well but i think nikon gets the nod most of the time.

so, got any pics from either lens??

If someone could mail me a Nikon 85mm/2 lens I will gladly do such a test as I have the Canon 85mm/1.9. I can also add to the test the Canon 135mm lens and the Nikon 135mm lens.

Did you offer to purchase one or more Canon lenses at ashtray prices? I would have.

While I've been a Leica kind of guy for many years, I would not denegrate other brands in that manner as I've seen far too many excellent photographs taken with various brands of cameras. Canon, Nikon, Leitz, Zeiss, Pentax, Yashica and so on have all made worthy equipment. I'd have no problems using any of their products. I enjoy them all.
