Canon VT rangefinder adjustment?

Hey guys,

I have seen it mentioned that the Canon VT has a user-adjustable RF alignment. I've searched my brains out on the web for instructions but I'm not coming up with anything.

Can anyone point me in the right direction for a link, or possibly explain it here?

Okay, I feel like a dope.

I looked through the viewfinder one last time to judge how far off the alignment was. I cranked it all the way over and it was pretty far off.

Then, miraculously, there was a click in the focus ring and everything snapped into place! Apparently, and I obviously didn't know this, there's an infinity lock detent that clicks in. I was never all the way to infinity when I was looking before.
