My Canonet seems to be acting a bit strangely with the batteries. I thought it was just the replacement (alkaline), as expected, due to different voltage. However, I got a battery adapter (thanks to our member John Neal!), which provides correct voltage with silver oxide SR-44. Still the same (more or less).
Just to make things clear - I have a GIII QL17...
I've seen a photo on Rick Oleson's site with instructions on meter trim pot, but the photo isn't very clear.
On another Web page I read about adjusting the resistor on the bottom...
Before I start fiddling with screwdrivers, can anyone confirm if any adjustment is indeed feasible? I would like to try to adjust meter readings a bit, and see what happens....
Any photos of the location of the adjustment resistor/trim pot are welcome!
