Hello again,
I just got a Canonet QL17 GIII, and it seems to work great. That is, until I put film in it. It winds the film just fine, but the film counter gets to one of the dots on the counter, but never catches and falls back to "S". Hence, the shutter never cocks, and I can't shoot anything. I ran through a whole roll of film with film advance, but it never got past "S". Is this thing fried? Or is it something an amateur like myself can fix?
