I see that Canon has announced a Mark II version of the 9000F scanner. I have been using the 9000F for a while and it serves my needs right for MF films.
I wonder what the changes are in the Mark II version. I am hoping that my betterscanning film holders with ANR glass still fit the mark II, just in case I upgrade for a good reason.
The price is still right and 10x cheaper than the Plustek 120 if that ever gets shipped.

That explains why I got my mki for $129 a few days ago.

That could be one of the best bargains you got. Especially if Mark II turns out to be just a marketing gimmick to sale a new model.

If you compare the 2 specs visible on the Canon site the only difference is the Auto Power Off feature of the Mk.II

Oh, I'm not complaining! I was deciding between the V600 and 9000f - reviews seemed to be a tie. Each has their pros and cons. Both were sitting at the same price on Amazon for weeks, then the 9000f went on sale and I jumped on it. No regrets!
