Hi I have the opportunity of getting the scanner abovementionned.
Does anybody have experiences with it?
It's a flatbed but it has got all the masks for 120, 35mm and even 4X5 in.
Would be nice to know how to get good results with it.
Best regards

I bought this scanner off a friend second hand. So far I've gotten ok results with it using Vuescan, but I must admit that my scanning surface has gotten a little hazy so the results aren't fantastic.

Welcome to the fora!
Yes the guy who has it, says he had to send it back one time because the scanning surface was dirty.

I was never particularly happy with my 9950f with Vuescan and scanning medium format. But this method of using toothpicks helped a bit.

I ended up purchasing another scanner.

I used one for a long while and got decent results. But after awhile it developed newton rings on every other negative. And after purchasing a V700. I realized the quality wasn't so great in comparison. Otherwise, it's a fine scanner and gets the job done. I still have it, and I still use it. More for scanning tearsheets and other things rather than negatives anymore.
Edit: Mine is the 9950F. I don't know if there's a great deal of difference between the two.
