Cap for hood of 35/2 Biogon?

Just a quick question about a third party cap over the OEM Zeiss hood. Is it possible? If so, what's the diameter?

yes, possible.

the hood for the 35mm lens takes a 62mm cap.
the hood for the 25mm/28mm lens takes a 67mm cap.

I use the Op/Tech "hood hats" over my 35/2 and 50/1.5. The "micro" size fits both, provides a little padding, and because it extends back to the focusing ring I can't forget that they're on the lens.
